Rady Children’s Hospital Donations

When employees at Norm Reeves Toyota San Diego began donating to Rady Children’s Hospital, their contributions consisted of just $1 to $5 from each paycheck. That was back in 2010.

Throughout the years, their dedication to helping the hospital as well as their donations grew—so much in fact, that the dealership’s efforts inspired Dave Conant, owner of The CAR Group, to match all employee contributions through the Conant Family Foundation.

On top of that, in 2012, the Toyota corporate office established the Toyota Dealer Match Program, which matches up to $10,000 of employee and dealership contributions.

Today, the donations from Norm Reeves Toyota San Diego plus the Conant Family Foundation and Toyota have grown enough to make a huge impact on this hospital and the children in our community.

With their help, Rady Children’s Hospital was able to purchase a new GE Discovery MT450 MRI. It features a CinemaVision System that allows children to watch movies or listen to music during their MRI to help them feel more like kids rather than just patients.

Norm Reeves Toyota San Diego has also helped the hospital’s HomeCare program grow to provide home healthcare services to more children across Orange County. Plus every year they work with AJ’s Kids Crane to host a toy drive at the dealership to benefit Rady Children’s Hospital.

And to think, all of this became possible with just a small gift. We’d like to thank our employees and supporting partners for your help!
