Toyota Corolla L
The Toyota Corolla L, and all the trim levels, include the 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine that comes paired with the Continuously Variable Transmission with Intelligence and Shift Mode. This engine is capable of producing 132 horsepower and 128 lb-ft of torque. The L trim also includes the Entune™ Audio system, which includes a 6.1-inch touchscreen, six speakers, voice recognition, Bluetooth® pairing and hands-free phone, and both a USB port and auxiliary input.
Toyota Corolla LE
The LE doesn’t stray too far from the base, with its assortment of features and technology. However, the LE adds Automatic Climate Control to the interior for added comfort, as well as premium fabric-trimmed seating and metallic interior trim with chrome interior door handles. This trim also adds color-keyed heated power outside mirrors.
Corolla LE Eco
The LE Eco Corolla trim does include some engine updates that pushes the vehicle to 140 horsepower and 126 lb-ft of torque, while improving the fuel efficiency with the same engine. Other than the more engine output in improved emissions (California LEV 3) and efficiency, this trim adds a rear spoiler to the exterior of the vehicle, giving it a bit of a sporty appearance.
The XLE trim includes some updated features to the interior, mainly with the Entune™ Audio Plus system. This system includes a larger 7-inch high-resolution touchscreen display and includes HD Radio™, Scout® GPS Link app compatibility, and a 3-month trial subscription of SiriusXM® Satellite Radio. The interior also includes the SofTex®-trimmed front seats with an 8-way power adjuster. The vehicle also adds a premium instrumentation cluster with a chrome-plated speedometer.
Toyota Corolla SE
The main difference between the Toyota Corolla LE vs. SE is that the SE includes a completely different grill. This sportier grill removes the panels and replaces them with mesh ventilation. Another major difference between the LE vs. SE is that this SE comes paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, which makes the experience of driving it a little more sporty, rather than the CVT. The interior includes the SofTex®-trimmed front sport seats with premium fabric inserts.
Toyota Corolla XSE
The XSE encompasses a little bit of everything that makes all these Toyota Corolla trims unique. It includes the Entune™ Audio Plus system, the SofTex®-trimmed seats with heating, a leather-trimmed steering wheel with paddle shifters, and a Sport instrumentation cluster with customizable settings. Another major addition to this trim is the fact that it includes a Sport driving mode, which redistributes the engine’s output to push the performance further.
