Toyota RAV4 vs Hyundai Tucson Performance

toyota rav4The 2018 Toyota RAV4 is right for anyone who wants outstanding fuel economy without having to sacrifice power. It’s equipped with a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that gets 176 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque. The engine’s advanced performance technologies also allow the Toyota RAV4 to achieve up to an EPA-estimated 26 combined MPG. Plus, this SUV offers an available all-wheel-drive system so you can get where you need to go no matter what type of terrain or weather you need to travel through.

If you need something more fuel efficient, the RAV4 Hybrid is your best choice. With the 2018 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, you get a more advanced powertrain that can deliver enhanced fuel economy. Overall, this efficient model gets up to an EPA-estimated 32 combined MPG*.

The 2018 Hyundai Tucson has decent powertrains. However, they’re not as impressive as the powertrain options for the RAV4. Its standard 2.0L 4-cylinder engine only gets 164 horsepower, and its available 1.6L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine only produces 175 horsepower. Plus, neither are as efficient as the RAV4 Hybrid. Fortunately, the Tucson does come with an available all-wheel-drive system.

Both models are equipped with a variety of interior features designed to keep you and your passengers comfortable for the road ahead. In terms of interior space, however, the RAV4 has the advantage over the Tucson.
