2019 Toyota Sienna Review
With several standard safety systems, a high-tech interior, and plenty of seating and cargo space, the 2019 Toyota Sienna has a lot to offer drivers in the greater San Diego area. We often have drivers from the Kearny Mesa and El Cajon areas ask us about this reliable minivan, so we created this Toyota Sienna review in which we’ll cover some of our favorite features.
Toyota Sienna: Seating and Cargo
Whether you’re leading the carpool or carting home materials for your next DIY project, you’ll have the space you need inside the 2019 Sienna to help you go about your busy day.
This vehicle seats up to eight passengers comfortably between all three rows. Those in the second row will have first-class treatment, as well, with available lounge seating. Recline the second-row bucket seat back and enjoy the footrest as you lay back and relax. This is ideal for long or early-morning road trips during which the kids might want to sleep.
If you need to tote a bit of luggage, you can take advantage of the 39.1 cubic feet of trunk space or use the available Split & Stow 3rd Row™ seat to store the third row in the floor and create a flat loading space. These are available with manual operation or power operation for maximum convenience.
Toyota Sienna Technology Review
When you settle in for a long car ride, you can stay connected and entertained with the standard Entune™ 3.0 Audio Plus infotainment system with App Suite and a 7-inch touchscreen. This feature allows you to connect your phone via Bluetooth™ and make hands-free phone calls and stream music.
This also includes Apple CarPlay™ and Siri® Eyes Free capability that fully integrates your smartphone’s music, calling, texting, and navigation with your Toyota Sienna.
For those in the back, there’s an available Dual-View Blu-ray™ Entertainment Center. This 16.4-inch display screen folds out of the roof of the van so that passengers can watch movies while on-the-go. You can watch in wide-screen, or split the screen in two and watch two different movies at once while listening through wireless headphones.
If the kids are being noisy and can’t hear you calling them, use the Driver Easy Speak feature to make an announcement through the car’s rear speakers.
Toyota Safety Sense™
Like many 2019 Toyota vehicles, the Sienna makes the Toyota Safety Sense™ (TSS) suite standard to help you carry your precious cargo more safely. The package includes useful smart safety features like Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist.
This senses if you’re accidentally drifting from your lane of travel and issues an alert while gently steering you back into your lane. This suite also includes the Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, which scans ahead for potential hazards in the road.
Other TSS suite features include Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Automatic High Beams.
