Toyota Safety Sense™ (TSS)

• Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection – This feature is designed to help detect a vehicle or pedestrian ahead and provide a warning through an audio/visual cue. If you don’t react, the system can also provide automatic emergency braking.
• Dynamic Radar Cruise Control – This adaptive cruise control system allows you to maintain a pre-set distance from the vehicle in front of you. Your vehicle will adjust its speed based on sensing the distance of the vehicle in front of you.
• Lane Departure Alert – This audio/visual warning will activate if an inadvertent lane departure is detected.
• Automatic High Beams – This feature is designed to help provide more visibility when traveling at night at speeds above 21 mph. The system can detect the headlights of oncoming vehicles and taillights of preceding vehicles to automatically switch between high and low beams.
• Lane Tracing Assist – When Dynamic Radar Cruise Control is enabled and lane markers are visible, this feature will use those lines or preceding vehicles to keep your vehicle centered in the lane.
• Road Sign Assist – This feature uses an intelligent camera to detect speed limit signs, stop signs, Do Not Enter signs, yield signs, and other road signs. The Multi-Information Display can also show the sign to help make you aware of what’s ahead.
• Proactive Driving Assist – This system uses the vehicle’s camera and radar to provide gentle braking into curves or steering assist to help with certain driving tasks, including distance control between other vehicles and pedestrians.
